Edward Paul McGhee Jr., 44, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.
He was born October 25, 1968, in Elkton, Maryland to Bertha “Bert” (Rudolph) Schwaderer of Bellefontaine and Edward (Marilyn) McGhee, Sr. of Lima, Ohio who both survive.
Also surviving is a sister, Sharon (Cleve) Walden Jr. of Bellefontaine; a paternal grandmother, Janet McGhee of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; a nephew, Christopher Walden of Bellefontaine; aunts and uncles, David (Diane) Rudolph of Rising Sun, Maryland, Harriet (Ed) Ramaeka of Ocala, Florida, Kathy (Skip) Miller of Elkton, Maryland, Robert McGhee of Charlestown, Maryland, Ginni (Tad) Takeuchi of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, Cindy (John) Horsman of Milford, Deleware and Sandy McGhee of Milford, Delaware; many cousins and his special family at Spring Street in Bellefontaine.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Stella “Grammy” and George Rudolph and his paternal grandfather, Archie “Pop-Pop” McGhee.
Eddie worked at RTC in Bellefontaine and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine. He enjoyed food, especially M&M’S and pizza. He liked to watch basketball of all levels on T.V., people watch and also loved people with blonde hair.
Calling hours are Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where Pastor Ed Beale will officiate the funeral service Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Mausoleum in West Liberty, Ohio. The family has requested that everyone come casually dressed.
