Eileen M. Mosbarger

Eileen M. Mosbarger, age 86, of Urbana, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 9:59 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio.

She was born August 26, 1934, a daughter of the late Leonard and Anna (West) Birt.

On April 2, 1951, Eileen married Howard Weldon Mosbarger in Richmond, Indiana and he preceded her in death April 20, 2015. She was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Ashton Mosbarger and four brothers, Richard Birt, Kenneth Birt, Melvin Birt and Joe Birt.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Janet (Mark) Young; three sons, Ronald (Barb Bayless) Mosbarger, Gregory (Gail) Mosbarger and Douglas (Margie) Mosbarger; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Irene Dickinson, and Nellie (Charles) Crumley.

A member of the First Church of God in West Liberty, Eileen had worked for the Bellefontaine Municipal Court for eighteen years. She was a member of the Urbana Champaign County Senior Center and enjoyed line dancing, crocheting and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the First Church of God in West Liberty, where Brother Nate Wilcoxon will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.

It is requested that guests in attendance be symptom free, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
