Elva Eileen “Dolly” Sutton, 82, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born March 19, 1929 in Birmingham, Ohio, to the late John and Carrie (Gault) Dennison.
She was married to Benjamin F. Sutton and he preceded her in death December 19, 1990. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Marjorie Paxton, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Surviving are her children, Toni (Roger) Overbey of Huntsville, Ohio and Guy (Corinne) Sutton of Georgetown, Ohio; a son-in-law, David Paxton of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Brad, Brian (Meggin), Nicholas (Darcie) and Nathan (Megan) Overbey, Jon Sutton and Michael Paxton; a step-granddaughter, Nicole Malenkamp; 8 great grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Robert Cash and a sister-in-law, Opal Dennison.
Dolly worked twenty seven years for the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in Computer Services and retired in 1985.
Pastor Larry Brown will officiate the 11:00 A.M. funeral service Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 10 to 11 A.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, Ohio.
