Eric D. Yoder, 57, of DeGraff, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born June 30, 1952, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son of Mary Jeanette Yoder, who survives in Worthington, Ohio, and the late Daniel J. Yoder.
He attended West Liberty-Salem High School, and lived in Apopka, Florida for more than 20 years while working as a contractor’s assistant and handyman before moving back to Logan County three years ago.
Also surviving are a sister, Joan (Peter) Macrae, of Worthington, Ohio; brothers, Greg of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and David (Mari) of Archbold, Ohio; five nieces; one nephew; and a large extended family.
The family would like to thank Dan Dooley and his family for the friendship and compassion they provided Eric.
Calling hours are from 12:30 to 2 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2010, at the Kauffman- Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where a prayer service begins at 2 P.M. Saturday. A private burial will be conducted prior to the service.
