Erma B. Shultz, 95, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born September 5, 1921, in Monroe Township to the late Samuel K. and Lillie Belle (Stallsmith) Lovett.

She was the youngest of ten children. She married Farrell M. Shultz November 10, 1945, and he preceded her in death March 21, 1992.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Plahovinsak.

She is survived by her children, William (Susan) Shultz of De Graff and Ann (Stan) Morrison of Grand Junction, CO; son –in- law John Plahovinsak of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jen) Plahovinsak, Joseph Shultz, Lillie (Clint) Moreno, Jacob Plahovinsak, Sam Morrison, Molly Morrison, and Tom Morrison along with two great grandchildren, Stephanie Erma Plahovinsak and Evonne Susan Plahovinsak.

Erma was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine and a former member of the Rum Creek United Methodist Church.   She graduated from Monroe High School and the Miami Valley School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Mary Rutan Hospital.

A celebration of life will be conducted by Rev. Rob Ulmer at the Rum Creek United Methodist Church at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2017.  Burial will be private at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
