Esther Stevens
Esther “Dickie” Pauline Stevens, 83, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed from this life Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at her residence. She was born April 8, 1928, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Jessie W. Hill and Mildred I. (Scott) Hill Hines.
She married Howard Ray Stevens in Bellefontaine August 12, 1947, and was married 59 years. He preceded her in death January 15, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a son, Floyd Eugene Stevens, a brother, Jesse Hill and a sister, Edith Huffman.
Surviving are her children, Richard “Rick” (Joyce) Stevens, Melody (Dave) Babyack, both of Kenton, Ohio, and Lora (Mike) Stevens of Belle Center; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and extended family.
A homemaker, Esther enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a hard worker all her life and will be greatly missed by many.
Pastor Kevin Smith will conduct a 12:00 P.M. graveside service Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center handled the arrangements.
