Ethel M. Bauman

Ethel M. Bauman, age 96, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Belle Springs Nursing and Rehab in Bellefontaine.

She was born in Union County Ohio August 31, 1924, a daughter of the late Forrest R. and Lucy V. (Smith) Johnson.

On October 25, 1940, she married Harry A. Bauman in Pike County Ohio and he preceded her in death in 1975.  She was also preceded in death by three daughters, Marian L. Clarkson, Vickie A. Hissem and Sherry Lea Wynn; two sons, Larry R. Bauman and Robert P. Bauman; two brothers; six sisters and one grandchild.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann Fryling of Fernley, Nevada and Karen K. Corral of Bellefontaine; a son, William F. Bauman of Rushsylvania, Ohio; twenty seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Ethel worked as a certified home health aide for more than forty years and enjoyed reading books and doing puzzles.

There are no public services planned for Ethel and private interment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Bauman family.
