Etoy A. Wilson, 78, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday morning, January 8, 2015 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born on June 3, 1936 in Stanford, West Virginia to the late Chestley B. and Olin L. (Laney) Hembrick. Etoy married Jarious Alexander Wilson on October 7, 1955 in Tampa, Florida and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1988. She was also preceded in death by siblings Richard Hembrick, Joseph Franklin Hembrick, Robert Hembrick, Lloyd Edward Hembrick and Mabel L. Maxwell.
Etoy is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Wilson of Bellefontaine and son Jarious A. (Paula) Wilson Jr. both of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren: Alexander Wilson, Alivia (Zachary Newcomb) Wilson and Jayla Wilson; one great-granddaughter Raelynn Newcomb; a brother Chester (Viola) Hembrick of Cleveland; a sister Irma Jean Robinson of Chicago; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Etoy was a homemaker and also worked for several years at Rink’s Department Store where she was a department head and cashier. Etoy was a member of Christ Our King Church and enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends.
Pastor Robin Ricks will officiate the funeral service on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11am at Christ Our King Church where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
