Eugene “Gene” L. Frazier, 74, of West Mansfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Union County March 29, 1934, a son of the late True A. and Reba Goach Frazier. A self-employed mechanic, he was the former manager of Ashland Gas Station and White’s BP Station in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He loved John Deere Tractors, NASCAR and the Cincinnati Reds. He was known for traveling around West Mansfield in a golf cart.

He was also preceded in death by a son, James C. Frazier. Survivors include sons, Larry Eugene Frazier Sr. of Bellefontaine, Wayne D. (Rosalie) Frazier of Bellefontaine, and Travis Frazier of Texas; daughters, Jackie L. (Jim) Boysel of Bellefontaine, Gena Weatherly of Eaton and Jennifer Haywood of Willington; a brother, James (Marty) Frazier of West Mansfield; a sister, Joann Sanford of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pastor Ray Headings conducts the funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where visitation is two hours prior to the service. Burial is in the Rushsylvania, Ohio, Cemetery.
