Eunice Hone

Eunice F. Hone, 87, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born November 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Marion Earl and Stella Ethel (Barnes) Fout. She married William O. Hone June 21, 1946 at her parents’ home in West Mansfield, Ohio, with the late Rev. Lloyd Harris officiating. Her husband preceded her in death May 5, 1992. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by two sons; Steven Earl Hone of Lexington, Kentucky, and William Hone of Bellefontaine, and a sister, Irene Ransbottom of Arizona.

Eunice was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Xenia, Ohio, and for many years she was an active Red Cross volunteer for Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia. She was a past member of the Ladies Sertoma Club and was a 1941 graduate of Rushsylvania High School.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 23, 2010, in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio with Rev. Bonnie Frost officiating. There will be no calling hours.
