Fern Hunt

Fern Hunt, 83, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born August 31, 1928 in Bellefontaine, to the late Andrews and Cleo (Stevens) Cox.

On November 3, 1946, she married Jack Hunt in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death May 14, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Cox.

Surviving are her children, Jeffrey (Cindy) Hunt of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, Diana Jones of West Palm Beach, Florida and Beverly (Lanny) Durnell of Bellefontaine; a brother, Fred Cox of Cincinnati, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

A homemaker, Fern was a member of the First Church of God, King Daughters and the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery with Pastor Ray Headings officiating.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
