Florence Rush Bucher

Florence Rush Yothers Bucher, age 97, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away, Friday, September 14, 2018 in Indiana. She was born April 8, 1921 to the late I. Erwin and Nora Rush Yothers.

On September 14, 1946, Florence married Harold Musselman Bucher who died in 2004. During her 58 years of marriage, she lived in Dallastown, PA, Atmore, AL, Scottdale, PA and Bellefontaine, OH.

She was also preceded in death by her nine siblings: Naomi, Ruth, Miriam, Paul, Esther, Richard (Ruth), Margaret (Howard) Leatherman, Alverna (Dan) Hunsberger and I Erwin Yothers, Jr; a son, Dale; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Acquisto; son-in-spirit, Mark Acquisto; and grandson, Gabriel Bucher.

Surviving children are: Rachel Bucher Kauffman (Roger), David (Sharon Hoover) Bucher, Carol Bucher Bixler (Sam); grandchildren: Ryan (Valerie) Kauffman, Rudi (Ravonn) Kauffman, Ross (Anna) Kauffman, Ari (Eya Santana) Whiteley, Mila Whiteley, Louis (Suzy Myre) Acquisto, Stella Acquisto, Eric (Mary Laura Krabill) Bixler, Timothy Bixler, Analisa Bixler and great-grandchildren, Evan, Neil, Simon, Greta, Sophia, Nora, and Micah Kauffman and Lukas Bixler.

Locally, the Kauffman family will be receiving guests who want to express their condolences in person Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 3 to 8 P.M. at their home.

A memorial service is being planned for October 13, 2018 at 3:30 P.M. at the Shalom Mennonite Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A graveside service will be held at the Deep Run East Mennonite Church East November 11, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
