Frances P. Funk

Frances P. Funk, age 83, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 8:25 A.M. at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.

She was born in Logan County Ohio April 26, 1935, to the late Frank H. and May E. (Walters) Knight.

On February 22, 1957, she married William Earl Funk and he preceded her in death December 19, 2003. Frances was also preceded in death by her siblings, Laura Fullerton, Herschel Leroy Knight, Perry Vincent Knight, and Wesley J. Knight.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Moyer of Bellefontaine; son, Rick (Joyce) Funk of West Liberty, Ohio; grandchildren, Stacey (Vincent Auger) Moyer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason (Murraya Kelly) Moyer of Bellefontaine, and Matthew Funk of Columbus, Ohio; a great grandson, Vincent Jeffrey Auger; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Don Williams.

Frances retired from Ohio High Point JVS as an educational aid and became a homemaker and babysitter for her grandkids for many years. Frances was a member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine.  She loved being with her family and spending time with her friends.

Pastors Gary Brown and Ray Headings will officiate the funeral service at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2 P.M. prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Greenwood Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
