Francis Bell

Francis H. Bell, 96, of Kenton passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Logan Acres Care Center. He was born in Belle Center, Ohio on September 16, 1918 to the late Marion and Aretha (Schrader) Bell.

On January 30, 1943 he married Mary Louise Gardner and she survives.

He is also survived by his four children; Judy (Lewis) Hanna of Kenton, David (Sandra) Bell of Bellefontaine, Stephen (Donna) Bell of Ridgeway, Kevin (Cathy) Bell of Zanesfield; eight grandchildren, John, Scott, Tiffany, Matthew, Marcia, Amanda, Kyle and Lisa; six great grandchildren, Alyssa, Cody, Megan, Michael, Addison and Parker; two great-great grandchildren Ryliegh and Grayson; a sister, Barbara (Richard) Davis of Pecos, New Mexico; special friends Joe & Emma Krock of Kenton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Augusta Armentrout, and two brothers Harold and Emerson Bell.

Francis worked at Superior Coach for 35 years. He attended the Belle Center Church of Christ, was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and enjoyed tinkering with tools. Francis also dabbled in farming and woodworking, and he loved to fish.

Pastor Dean Wasson will officiate a funeral service at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
