Francis Hutchins

Francis W. Hutchins, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born October 7, 1927 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Frank William and Lillian (Gross) Hutchins.

On January 27, 1951, he married Betty L. Harris at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and she preceded him in death November 18, 2010. Also preceding him in death was a son, Steven P. Hutchins, March 26, 2004, and a grandson, Christopher Brown.

Surviving are his children, Jon (Vicki) Hutchins, David (Linda Erwin-Hutchins) Hutchins, Peggy (Butch) Brown and Cathy (Earl) Zilles all of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Ryan (Casey) Brown, Benjamin Hutchins, Nicki (Craig) Poeppelman, Andy (Jodie) Hutchins, Angela (Kevin) McCahill, Kyle Hutchins, Caitlin Hutchins and Jack Hutchins; and great grandchildren, Ryder Brown and Addison Hutchins.

Francis, along with his wife, was the owner and operator of Hutchins Dry Cleaners in Bellefontaine. A World War II Army Veteran, he was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the B.P.O.E. #132.

Calling hours are Friday, December 16, 2011 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Rev. Patrick Sheridan will officiate a 10:00 A.M. funeral mass Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
