Fred Creech

Fred F. Creech, 79, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in London, Kentucky on March 14, 1935 to the late Henry and Millie (Creech) Creech. The youngest of thirteen, Fred was preceded in death by twelve siblings.

A veteran of the US Army, Fred served during the Korean War. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Fred is survived by his wife, Linda (Chandler) Creech, they’ve been together forty-three years and whom he married September 18, 1978. He is also survived by sons, Jace Richard (Debbie) Creech of Sidney, Fred Lewis (Lisa) Creech of Wapakoneta; daughters, Tammy Kay (Dave) Bowers of Red Key, Indiana, Audra Michelle (Paco) Burgos of Kernersville, North Carolina and Amber Grace (Tim) Neff of Cincinnati; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery with military honors provided by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
