Fred William Godwin, 79, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday morning, August 12, 2015 at his home. He was born in Logan County on March 23, 1936 to the late Harold and Kathryn (Foulk) Godwin.
Fred married Mardell Losey on September 5, 1959 in Bellefontaine. He is also survived by his children: Wesley (Stephanie) Godwin of Bellefontaine, April Sutliff of Bradenton, Florida, Christine (Larry) Carver of Ocala, Florida, Lisa (Mike) Slagle of Roundhead and Dale Godwin of Bellefontaine; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother Eugene Godwin of Bellefontaine.
Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate a graveside service on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 2pm at Zanesfield Cemetery.
The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
