Gary Davis Sr

Gary Lynn Davis, Sr., 63, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and his faithful companion Diego, passed away as the result of a traffic accident in Allen County Ohio, Thursday, May 19, 2011. Gary was born in Bellefontaine October 19, 1947, to the the late Frank Baldwin and Harriet Louise Price Davis, Sr.

He married Darlene Auske May 31, 1969 in Russells Point, Ohio.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by sons Gary Lynn (Claudia) Davis, Jr. and William (Tami) Davis, all of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Stacie (Steve) Lowe of Lima, Ohio; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Davis, Jr. of Zanesfield, Ohio, and Randall (Denise) Davis of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Miller and Rebecca (Colby Cox) Pequignot, both of Arizona. He was also preceded in death by a brother Michael Davis.

Gary was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Viet Nam War.

A memorial service will be held at Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Robin Ricks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from noon to1 P.M. prior to the service.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
