Gary S. Miller

Gary S. Miller, age 65, of Lakeview, Ohio passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Troy, Ohio September 17, 1952, the son of the late Harold P. Miller and Gloria A. (Himes) Miller, who survives of Lakeview.

On September 2, 1972, he married Katheryn (Colton) Miller and she preceded him in death October 17, 2017.

He is survived by a daughter, Bethan (Jason) Miller of Rushsylvania, Ohio; a son, Greg (Carey) Miller of Dublin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ammon, Sariah, Eli, and Wyatt, two brothers, David A. (Janis Diane) Miller of Jamestown, Ohio and Jim (Lisa) Miller of Beavercreek, Ohio and nieces and nephews, Katrina, Christina, Amy, Chelsea, Jared, Riley, Peyton, and Reilly.

Gary worked as a dispatcher for Whiteline Express, LTD. in Jackson Center, Ohio. He was a devoted member of the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point, Ohio where he sang in the choir. He also sang with the Loganaires barber shop choir. He spent twenty five plus years coaching basketball in the CYO of Greater Dayton. He loved attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren. His family always came first to him and when he had spare time, he loved to fish.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Russells Point.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
