Genevie M. Born

Genevie M. Born, age 92, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Friday afternoon June 28, 2019, at the Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kenton, Ohio.

She was born in Logan County Ohio May 31, 1927, to the late Lewis and Flora Ann Linson.  Genevie married Fred Preston Born September 20, 1950, and he preceded her in death September 5, 2018.  She was also preceded in death by siblings, Vada LeValley, George Linson, Wanda Gillen, Emil Linson, Leota Nelson, and Lewis Linson Jr.

Genevie is survived by children, Debra Born of Bowling Green, Ohio, Stan Born of Belle Center, Dave Born of Belle Center, Lynn (Ron) Chambers of Bradenton, Florida, Teena (Bryan) Jakeway of Belle Center, Clark Born of Belle Center, Dean (Jennifer) Born of Cincinnati, Ohio and Roger (Maria) Born of Kenton; thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Lavonne Beers of Springfield, Ohio.

Genevie was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and family gatherings.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center Tuesday, July 2, 2019, from 4 to 7 P.M.

Pastor Kris Langstaff will officiate the funeral service Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
