George “Rob” Robert Organ, 46, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Bellefontaine. He was born December 18, 1963, in Urbana, Ohio, to George E. and Lena “Ellen” (Tomlin) Organ. In 1996 his father preceded him in death.
He married Annette Jacobs July 28, 1984 in Bellefontaine, and she survives along with his mother, Ellen, of North Lewisburg, Ohio; a son George “Derick” (Katie Defibaugh) Organ and a daughter, Merisha (Randall Murphy) Organ, both of Bellefontaine; a brother, James Organ of Mt. Victory, Ohio, and a sister Patricia (James) Craig of East Liberty, Ohio; a granddaughter, Eliza Murphy and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A truck driver, Rob graduated in 1983 from Bellefontaine High School. He was a handyman, and loved fishing, boating and working on cars. He especially loved to spend time with his family and would help anyone, anytime and never knew a stranger.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Middleburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Todd Gates officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2 to 5 P.M. at the church on Saturday.
