Geraldine Cost

Geraldine Cost, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday afternoon, May 12, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.

Geraldine was born in Zanesfield, Ohio February 24, 1933, to the late Benjamin E. and Mary Jane (Axline) Foulk.  She married Howard “Pete” Cost February 6, 1950 in Bellefontaine, and he preceded her in death January 14, 1982.  Geraldine was also preceded in death by a son, James Richard Cost and daughters, Shirley Lynn and Evelyn Jean Martin; a brother, Clarence Foulk and a sister, Janice “Susie” McCoy.

Geraldine liked playing Bingo, putting puzzles together and being around people.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Connie and Don Jones and Marjorie and Kenneth Feasel, all of Bellefontaine; ten grandchildren, Kimberly Sickmiller, Misty, Chris, Kevin, Dawn and Eve Martin, Carrie Alexander, Tim and Randy Feasel and Matthew Cost, and a number of great-grandchildren.

Pastor Mark Atterholt will officiate a graveside service Friday, May 19, 2017 at noon at the Rosedale Cemetery in Careysville, Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
