Gertrude Rene Frazier, 63, of Belle Center, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 in Emergency Room at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.

She was born on June 18, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio, a daughter of the late John H. and Christine (Johnson) Queen. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carrol.

On June 21, 1969 in South Charleston, Ohio, she married Raymond Frazier, Sr. and he survives along with sons, Raymond (Lisa) Frazier, Jr. of Lakeview, David (Michelle) Frazier of Belle Center, Chad (Susan) Frazier of Columbus; grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, Nathan, Jessica, Abigail, Blake, Brayden, Rebecca, Morgan, Denver; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Loretta (Rex) Schirm of Shadyside, Ohio, Margaret (David) Cook of East Liberty, Linda (Craig) Opphille of Marysville, Becky (Bill) Baker of North Lewisburg, Ruth (Bill) Smith of Bellefontaine; brothers, John (Mary Jane) Queen, III of Bloomingburg, Ohio, Daniel (Grace) Queen of Rushsylvania and Paul Queen of Washington Court House.

She was a homemaker and was a former nurses’ aide.

Gertrude formally operated Briarpatch Craft Store in Bellefontaine and enjoyed craft shows and flea markets. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pastor Rex Schirm will officiate a funeral service on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center, where friends may call on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 4 – 7 p.m. A 2 p.m. burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
