Gladys Edwards

Biography

Gladys M. Edwards, 86, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday afternoon, June 4, 2012 at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio.

Gladys was born in West Mansfield, Ohio May 4, 1926, to the late Herschel and Ellen Irene Dally McDonald. She worked twenty years at Copeland in Sidney, Ohio retiring in 1988. She was a life member of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary #2066.

Gladys is survived by her son Robert (Pat) Edwards of Wooster, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, David Allen Edwards of Wooster and Robert William Edwards of Grafton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jacob Evans and Dan Edwards; life-partner Joe Smedley; a brother, Robert D. McDonald and sisters Nadine Wright and Opal Whitman.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Gene Marine officiating.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
