Gladys R. (Sebring) Woodard, 92, of West Liberty died on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Green Hills Care Center.

She was born on May 15, 1923 in London, England to the late Floyd and Rosina (George) Sebring. Gladys moved to Russell's Point as a young child. She moved to West Liberty in 1950 with her family. Gladys lost her first husband James Goldsberry to a heart attack and a daughter Barbara, age 9, due to complications in surgery. Gladys remarried Ernest Woodard on July 18, 1953 in West Liberty and they raised four children. They retired and moved to Florida, until Ernest passed away on February 13, 2013, at which time she moved back to West Liberty and has lived at Green Hills ever since.

A 1941 graduate of Lewistown High School, Gladys was a homemaker and a member of the West Liberty Presbyterian Church.

Gladys is survived by children: Tamara (Fred) Johnson of Albion, Michigan, Greg Woodard of West Liberty, Robin Harris of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Doug Woodard of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren: Andrea (Derek) Shaffer, Brittney (John Paul) Gillis, Connor Woodard, Nicholas Woodard, Laine Woodard and Alexander Harris; two great-grandchildren: Jordan Shaffer and Devin Shaffer; a sister Dorothy Barr of Edgewater, Florida; a brother James (Pat) Sebring of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Forrest Amidon will officiate the funeral service on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:30pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, West Liberty where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
