Glenn D. Fairchild

Glenn D. Fairchild, 59, originally of Degraff, Ohio passed away late in the evening Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine January 11, 1958, to the late Dennis May and Eloise (Peters) Fairchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Richard Fairchild.

Glenn is survived by his former wife, Vicki Fairchild and their two children, Lindsey (T.D.) Evans and Garrett Fairchild; two grandchildren, Rhys and Kara Evans; three sisters, Peggy (Harry) Dearwester, Iva (Richard) Burdiss, and Glenda Fairchild; three brothers, Eli “T Bud” (Debra) Fairchild, Garry (Penny) Fairchild, and David (Melissa Brown) Fairchild; a special brother, Dan Anderson and a great many nieces and nephews.

Glenn retired in 2009 from Honda of America after almost thirty years where he worked as a coordinator in vehicle quality at the East Liberty plant. He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, deal finding, hunting, fishing and archery. A recent highlight of his life was when his son, Garrett, shot an elk on a bow hunt in Oregon. Glenn especially enjoyed the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. Rhys and Kara loved their PaPaw and the cool toys he would bring them.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, where visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service.
