Glenna Ward

Glenna E. Ward, 73, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 27, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born October 30, 1938 in Lakeview, Ohio, a daughter of the late Virgil and Lola (Markley) Campbell.

On August 6, 1956 in Lakeview, she married Stanley Ward and he preceded her in death May 28, 1994.

Survivors include a daughter, Alisa (William) Smedley of Bellefontaine; a son, Darryl Ward of Bellefontaine; 4 grandsons, Christopher, Kevin, Mark & Michael; 6 great-grandchildren and a brother, Roger Eugene Campbell.

She worked at Merchant Industries in Bellefontaine for thirty four years and then at Speedy Mart. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She loved shopping, attending her church and being with family, especially her grandchildren.

Pastor Fred Clogg will officiate the funeral service Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 12 noon at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday. Interment will be at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
