Gordon Moist

Gordon Paul Moist, 56, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009, at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1952, at George Air Force Base in Victorville, California. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Lillian Moist, who raised him.

Surviving is his mother and step-father, Don and Marcia Mosbarger of Bellefontaine; 2 sons, Doug (Amber) Moist of Bellefontaine, and Nicholas Moist of West Liberty, Ohio; a daughter, Amanda Moist of Huntsville, Ohio; a sister, Darla (Bruce) Rice of Spencerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Addison and Makenzie Moist; and a special Aunt, Mary Lou Frost of Bellefontaine.

He was a machinist for Retention Knob Supply in Huntsville, Ohio for over 30 years and he enjoyed customizing and cleaning cars.

Gordon will be missed by family and friends and at his request, his body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Pastor Greg Haisley officiating.
