Gregory Emil Renner, age 51, of St. Paris, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 2:55 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born February 5, 1963, in Pleasant Hill, Miami County, Ohio. He spent his growing up years in Pleasant Hill, graduating from Newton High School in 1981.
On August 29, 1987, he married Jennifer Miller and she survives. They enjoyed almost twenty seven years together, making their home in St. Paris for the past seventeen years.
He is also survived by his four children Harrison Gregory (23), Logan Kenneth (21), Weston Fredrick (19) and Hannah Catherine (16); his parents, Harry Emil and Glenna (Warner) Renner of Pleasant Hill; his father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Kathleen (Kuntz) Miller of Pleasant Hill; a brother, Anthony Renner of Boston; a sister, Anita (Dean) Sink of Covington, Ohio; his wife’s sisters and brother Lisa (Gary) Landes of Lewisburg, Sarah (Ronald) Landes of Elderado and Jonathan (Erin) Miller of Troy, and many nieces and nephews made lots of happy family memories. A nephew, Adam Landes, preceded him in death.
Greg worked at Honda of America in Anna, Ohio for almost twenty five years. He was a gifted mechanic who most enjoyed hobby-farming. Greg had attended the Grace Bible Church in Springfield, Ohio as a child. He was currently a member at the Grace Chapel Church in West Liberty, Ohio.
Pastors Josh Gelatt and Marvin Wiseman will officiate the funeral service at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the the Grace Chapel Church in West Liberty. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the church. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 3:30pm at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.
