Gregory Southard

Gregory D. Southard, 43, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his parent’s residence. He was born August 8, 1968 in Bellefontaine to Donald D. and Judy A. (Starks) Southard, who survive in Bellefontaine.

Gregg is also survived by his children, Kyle and MacKenzie Southard, both of Bellefontaine; his paternal aunts and uncles, Roy and Lynn Southard of New Baltimore, Michigan, Sandy (Phil) Cooper of Sarasota, Florida, Eileene (Rex) McColloch of Atlanta, Georgia, Jim Southard of Massillon, Ohio, and Vickie (Dave) Guisinger of Marysville, Ohio; maternal aunts and uncle, Ron and April Starks of New Lexington, North Carolina, Susan Waltz of Venice, Florida; and numerous cousins.

Preceding him in death was a son, Trent Dean Southard, and a paternal uncle, Jerry Southard.

Gregg was a lab technician for Shelley Corporation. He was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and enjoyed working out at the Hilliker Y.M.C.A. He enjoyed spending time and doing everything with his children. Gregg will be sadly missed by all of his close friends.

Pastor Craig Howie will officiate the 10:00 A.M. funeral service Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Monday, January 23, 2012.
