Hallie Elliott

Biography

Hallie E. Elliott, 99, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 peacefully at home.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia August 31, 1913, a daughter of the late John and Laura (Erwin) Angle.

On April 23, 1932 she married Joe O. Elliott, and he preceded her in death November 28, 1970. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Virginia L. “Ginger” (Bob) Provo and a son, Donald H. “Donnie” (Mary Lou) Elliott; brothers, Roy, Kenneth, Vincent, Clarence and Lloyd Angle, and sisters, Agnes Strayer and Helen Porter.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Mike (Donna) Provo, Jackie (Mike) Atkinson, Bobby (Mich) Provo, Jim Provo, Teri (Mark) Ransbottom and John (Pam) Provo; seven great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

Hallie was a cook at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine and worked with the elderly when she lived in Florida. She was a member of the Bellefontaine Friendship Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting and crafts. Hallie will be greatly missed!

Pastor Greg Haisley of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine will officiate a private graveside service at a later time in the Harper Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
