After a two year battle with cancer, Harold “Bob” Robert Leopard, 68, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 30, 1942 in Mingo, Ohio to the late Harold and Frances (Dunn) Leopard.
On April 10, 1982 he married his loving wife, Sue Fogle in Woodstock, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Cande Sue (Doug) Brake of Marysville, Ohio, Amy Jo (Joe) Ratcliff of West Liberty, Ohio, and Kathy Rene (Gary) Fiebelkorn of Washington Court House, Ohio; five sons, Jeffrey L. (Jenni) Hodge of West Mansfield, Ohio, Chris J. (Tammy) Hodge of Marysville, Timothy L. (Krystal) Hodge of Jackson Center, Ohio, Devon J. (Tammy) Hodge of DeGraff, Ohio, and Travis D. Hodge of Pikesville, Kentucky; a brother, Raymond (Virginia) Leopard of Marysville; a sister Janet (John) Schillinger of Urbana, Ohio; half-sister, Margaret Parker of Urbana; Mother-in-law, Marion (Willis) Anderson of Kenton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Daren (Cheryl) Fogle of Kenton; sisters-in-law, Gerry (Sandy) Waugh of West Mansfield and Cindy (Bob) Culver of Louden, Tennessee; grandchildren, Justin and Megan Brake, Dustin and Matthew Scroggs, Ashley, Sierra and Shawn Hodge, Brooks, Bryant and Brandon Hodge, Tyler and Bryce Hodge and Taylor and Alyssa Hodge; his best friend and pet dog, Hannah.
Preceding him in death were half siblings, Helen and Joseph.
He retired from Siemens after thirty three years where he was in management, working at the Marysville and Bellefontaine plants. A 1960 graduate of Triad High School, Bob was a member of the Bellefontaine United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved to watch his grandchildren play in their sports activities.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements and at Bob’s request, there will be no services.
