Harrison Miranda

Harrison Arnold Harry Miranda, 73, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1937, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late George N. and Ica M. (Wilson) Miranda.

On June 19, 1960, he married Jacqueline Jackie Sutter in Bellefontaine and she preceded him in death October 5, 1998. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Elwood, George T., Russell, Ray, Ralph, and Milton Miranda and three sisters, Evelyn Brown, Bessie Seabert, and Edna Miranda.

Surviving is a son, Mark Miranda; a daughter, Michelle (Mike) Johnson, both of Bellefontaine; a brother, James Miranda of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Nick Miranda, Catie Schmidt, Jessica (Lee) Ladig, Crystal (Justin) Holkema and Hannah Johnson; and one great grandson, Jared Holkema.

Harry retired from National Extrusion after forty years of service. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Moose Lodges.

Calling hours are Friday, June 17, 2011, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2011. Interment will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
