Harry R. Fleming, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday June 17, 2015 at Glen Ridge Health Campus.
Harry was born in Rushsylvania and was an Insurance Agent for over 60 years spending the majority with Braden Insurance Co. He attended Highview Baptist Church, was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid Louisville Cardinal basketball, Ohio State Buckeyes football and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan. He also was a basketball referee for many years.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife Ruth I. Fleming, son Kim Fleming, and brother Carl Titus.
Harry is survived by his children Cheryl (Daren) Fogle of Kenton, OH, Gregg Fleming of Gadsden, AL, Chris (Sharlene) Fleming of Argenta, IL, Steve (Sharon) Fleming of Louisville, KY, and Michael (Jeanie) Fleming of Louisville, KY; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; special daughter-in-law Tamara Fleming; and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2 pm Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine with burial to follow in Rushsylvania Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. and on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 3-6pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
