Harry Neal

Harry M. Neal, 79, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on July 26, 1937 to the late Guy Merle and Alma Irene (Wagner) Neal.

On August 11, 2011 Harry married the former Betty Ratliff, and she survives in Bellefontaine, along with his daughter, Deanna (Daniel) Johns of Bellefontaine; his son, Merle Neal of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren, Josh, Brittany and Tyler Dickinson; eight great grandchildren; three step-children, Sally Neeley, William Perin and Tonya Perin; 11 step- grandchildren; a step-great granddaughter; and a sister, Reetha Lowe.

A U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, Harry had worked in maintenance at Westinghouse. He was always tinkering with something, and especially enjoyed repairing, refinishing and building things out of wood.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio with military rites by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
