Helen I. Buirley

Helen I. Buirley, age 96, formerly of Jackson Center, Ohio passed away Saturday evening, February 19, 2022, at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Helen was born at home in Holt County Missouri May 7, 1925, to the late Clay and Orlee (Houston) Moser.  She married Robert Buirley June 20, 1945, and he preceded her in death November 10, 2004.  Helen was the second born of seven children and was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lenhart of Jackson Center; son, Michael (Pam) Buirley of Mt. Vernon; 5 grandchildren: Shawn (Amanda) Lenhart, Amy (Brent) Wallace, Matthew (Allison) Buirley, Kris (Ashley) Buirley, and Rachel (Kyle) Clinedinst; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

Helen was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center.

Friends may call Friday, February 25, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center, where Pastor Bert Schultz will officiate the funeral at 12 noon. 

Burial will be in the Glen Cemetery.
