Helen Jean Cassell

Helen Jean (Dingey) Cassell, 89, formerly of Urbana, Ohio, died on Sunday 8/6/2017, at Green Hills in West Liberty, Ohio.

Helen was born on July 16, 1928, to John Roy and Nancy Trean (Patterson) Dingey of Fountain Park, Ohio

She is survived by a daughter, Jan L. (Steven) Casto and a granddaughter, Jaclyn Casto all of St. Paris, Ohio.  Also, a special grand-niece Michelle Tussing, brother Charles (Phyllis) Dingey of Mechanicsburg, sister-in-law Aurilla Dingey of Urbana and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell Cassell, son Keith Cassell, special nephews Billy Dingey and Roy Gene Kerns; along with her brothers John Dingey and Ed Dingey; sisters Belva Gowin, Mary Hilliard and Ruth Ogden; Mother and Father-in-law Edford and Monnie Cassell; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Helen will be cremated and her ashes will be interred at Highland Memory Gardens in West Liberty, Ohio beside her son, husband and other family members. There is no memorial scheduled at this time.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty, Ohio is handling the arrangements.
