Helen A. Richardson

Helen A. Richardson, age 65, of Jackson Center, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at her home. She was born in Sidney, Ohio September 1, 1952, to the late William F. and Martha L. (Guenin) Maloon Jr. She married Eddie I. “Buddy” Richardson Sr. in 1973, and he preceded her in death in 1999.  Helen was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Crevier and Bobbie Zwiebel; a brother, Charles Maloon and a grandson, Pat O’Neal in 2009.

Helen is survived by her son, Eddie (Michelle “Chellie") Richardson Jr. of Sidney; two grandchildren, Katie Brown and Lewades “Wade” O’Neal; a great-grandson, Andrew “Peanut” Brown; siblings, Martha L. “Mac” (James) Thompson of Maplewood, Ohio, Patricia (John) Hurley of Jackson Center, William F. (Alice) Maloon of Brittons Neck, South Carolina, James F. Maloon of Dover, Ohio, and Ron (Deborah) Maloon of Ft. Loramie, Ohio and many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Helen worked at Wal-Mart for twenty years as a stockperson and retired in 2014. She liked to crochet, sew, and put puzzles together. Helen loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed country movies and shows. Helen was a member of the Daviston Church of God in Brittons Neck, South Carolina.

Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center Monday, October 30, 2017 from 5 to 7 P.M. where the funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. with David Klopfenstein officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in the Old Neck Cemetery in Brittons Neck, South Carolina.
