Henry Lee Hatfield Jr. “Hat Dog”, 63, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 24, 1958, a son of the late Henry Lee Hatfield Sr. and Georgia Jane (Bennett) Hatfield Stewart. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ora Stewart; a son, Jeremiah Hoskins and a brother, David Paul Hatfield.
Henry is survived by his life partner, Della (Wickersham) Hoskins; three children, Thomas Hoskins, Tylisha Hoskins and Tonya Brown; five grandchildren, Brian Hoskins, Rylyn Hoskins-Rose, Jaxon Hoskins, Ryder Hoskins and Phillip Hoskins; stepmother, Jeanne Stewart; seven siblings, Lonnie Ray (Carol) Jones, Cordia Jane Hatfield, Curtis Leroy Hatfield, Tenia Marie (Mike) Johnson, William Clay Barnett, Mary Jewel (Skip) Thomas and Robert Scott (Calina) Hatfield; sisters-in-law, Debra Wilson and Paula Wickersham; a brother-in-law, Tom Wickersham and a special friend, Ronald Wilson.
A self-employed carpenter, Henry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gold mining and playing guitar.
Pastor Rob Starnes will officiate a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Gretna Brethren Church in Bellefontaine.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Hatfield family.
