Henry Weisz, 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his residence at Campbell House.
He was born August 22, 1923 in New Lexington, Ohio, to the late Edward and Lenke (Kroh) Weisz. Also preceding Henry in death was his first cousin Edith Downs, the mother of George Kun and grandmother of Nicholle Kun.
On December 31, 1973, he married the former Patty Ann Looker in Las Vegas, Nevada and she preceded him in death October 10, 1979.
Surviving is a step-daughter, Pam (Roscelle) Clark of Bellefontaine; step grandchildren, Kambria Masters of Ft. Worth, Texas and Roscelle Clark III of Bellefontaine; his cousin, George (Joselle) Kun of Upper Arlington, Ohio, and their daughter and his second cousin, Nicholle Kun of New York City.
Henry was the longtime proud owner of Wolfheim’s and Huber-Buchenroth clothing stores in Bellefontaine. Wolfheim’s was the second oldest clothing store in Ohio. He helped run the stores for more than fifty years before Wolfheim’s and Huber-Buchenroth closed in 2005.
Henry was a kind-hearted soul and friend to all. He was honored to be the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award through the Logan County Chamber of Commerce.
Gene Marine will officiate the 1:00 P.M. funeral service Saturday March 22, 2014, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
