Herbert Nelson Dye, 56, of West Liberty, Ohio passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at his home.
Nelson is survived by his mother, Ann Claude; his son, Noah Dye; very special companion Suzanne Jordan and her son Justin Jordan, all of West Liberty; brothers Jerry Dye of Springfield, Ohio and Daniel Dye of Bellefontaine; sisters Linda Crew of Bellefontaine and Lee Morhinger of Lebanon, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
Nelson was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio November 29, 1955. He later worked as a test driver at Transportation Research Center for 12 years and enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and camping. In his spare time, Nelson also loved to build, and rebuild, bicycles.
The funeral service will be held at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 11 A.M. with Pastor Dick Barrett officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for Nelson’s son.
