Isabelle Kensler

Isabelle M. Kenlser, 92, of Bellefontaine passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her home. She was born in Van Wert, Ohio on December 9, 1922 to the late Fred Barton and Mattie Mabel (Uncapher) Kensler.

Isabelle is survived by her brother, Rev. Donald Kensler of Matthews, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Clifford & Ada Mae Kensler, Orville & Hyla Kensler, Georgia Kensler and infant brother Charles Kensler.

Isabelle graduated from Cleveland Bible College. She worked for the Friends Rescue Home in Columbus. She graduated from the Columbus School of Practical Nursing in 1963. After leaving Columbus in 1970, she worked in area nursing homes. Retiring in 1986, she worked part-time at Logan Acres Nursing Home. Isabelle attended First Friends Church in Bellefontaine and Mt. Carmel Friends Church in Cable.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Isabelle will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the First Friends Church in Bellefontaine. Burial will be in East Liberty Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
