Jack Lynn Taylor, 75, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, was called home by his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 23, 1947, to the late Robert and Dortha (Ewing) Taylor. He is also preceded in death by brothers: Charles Taylor and Raymond Taylor; a sister, Beverly Allen; brother-in-law, Ron Blanke; and a sister-in-law, Linda Taylor.
In 1969, he married Barbara (Park) Taylor, and she survives. He is also survived by their children: Todd (Rebecca) Taylor and James (JoAnna) Taylor; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a brother, Marion Taylor; sister, Sharon Ann Blanke; sisters-in-law: Rita Taylor and Pat Taylor; brother-in-law, Richard Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jack was an avid drag racer and loved his little blue truck. He was a past member of the Top of Ohio RC Airplane club and a past member of the Logan County Fish and Game. He got along with everyone, and he never met a stranger.
There will be a celebration of Jack’s life held at the Logan County Fish and Game, 2056 US Highway 68 N, Bellefontaine, Ohio, 43311, on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
