Jacqueline Cayot

Jacqueline “Jackie Z” Cayot, age 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Istanbul, Turkey August 6, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert Cabi and Jeannette (Pervitch) Cabi Akman.

She married Richard Glen “Dick” Cayot and he preceded her in death November 7, 2011.

She is survived by a son, Arthur (Bonny) Taylor of Hubert, North Carolina and a daughter, Christine Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six step-children, Kathy Gehrett of Bluffton, Indiana, Linda (Gary) Stoffel of Huntington, Indiana, Mike (Ann) Cayot of Bluffton, Steve (Kim) Cayot of West Liberty, Ohio, Yvonne (Jeff) Brown of Huntington, and Clark (Lisa) Cayot of Richwood, Ohio; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie Z was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and had volunteered with the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild for many years. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation (BPW) and enjoyed traveling.

Visitation will be held Friday March 2, 2018 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.​

Father Shawn Landenwitch will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial following the visitation at 12 P.M. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine.

Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine at a later date.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
