James Wilson Baker, 68, of Belle Center, died at 8:40 p.m Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at home.
Born Jan. 8, 1948, in Kenton, a son of the late Robert Glen and Ruby Eileen Hubbard Baker, he also was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy, and a brother, John Alfred Baker.
He was a 1966 graduate of Belle Center High School and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2000.
Survivors include his daughter, Tracy (Pam Gillen) Baker of Belle Center; stepson, Chris Lewis of Columbus; sisters, Margel (John) Day of West Liberty and Miriam (Jim) Baier of Huntsville; two step-grandsons; nieces, nephews; and special friends, Lou Connor, Alan Springwind Smith and Pennie Messner.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth, Belle Center.
A graveside service begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Belle Center Fairview Cemetery.
