James Boy

James Bela Boy, 7, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born September 6, 2004 in Bellefontaine, to Bill and Amy Boy whom survive.

Surviving are his siblings, Hannah, Daniel, Jacob, Ruth, Marjorie and Brody all at home; maternal grandparents, Doug and Marjorie MacGillivray of Bellefontaine; paternal grandmother, Lois Boy of Bellefontaine; aunts and uncles, Ed (DeDe) Boy of Bellefontaine, Linda (Rick) Hauck of Bellefontaine, Gary (Beth) Boy of Gahanna, Ohio, Kathy (Matt) Yackshaw of North Canton, Ohio, Linda (Dick Griffith) MacGillivary and Kris (Tim) Shannon of Youngstown, Ohio; twenty first cousins, and a loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edwin W. Boy in 1996, and a cousin, Timothy Jacob Shannon in 1990.

James was a member of the Grace Chapel Church in West Liberty, Ohio, where he loved to greet people and sing praises. He loved to work outside with his Dad, be with his siblings and ride horses at Discovery Riders.

Pastor Josh Gelatt will officiate an 11:00 A.M. funeral service Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Grace Chapel Church in West Liberty, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to: Discovery Riders P.O. Box 217 Bellefontaine, OH 43311 or to the Grace Chapel Church 500 Linden Ave. West Liberty, OH 43357

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
