James Eidenour

James R. Eidenour passed away at his home the 26th of December, 2008, at the age of 85. He was the son of William and Wyoma Bennett Eidenour of Chillicothe, born 12 April 1923. He married Anna Mae Grable in 1942 and she died in 1973. He then married Jeanette Wright in 1980 and gained a family. Jeanette passed away in 1997.

He is survived by Bruce Davenport of Arizona, Brian Davenport of Florida, Henry (deceased) and Ginger Davenport and son Henry of Alabama, and Geo. Timothy Davenport, Becka Davenport and Bertie Davenport, Dick of Bellefontaine and several great-grandchildren.

Mr. Eidenour served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from the United States Gypsum Company and worked as a painter, janitor and many other jobs throughout his long life.

A memorial service was held at the First Assembly of God at 10 a.m. Monday the 29th.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
