James D. Mayse

James D. Mayse, 65, of Conover, Ohio passed away Wednesday morning, February 23, 2022, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio.

Jim was born in Sidney May 25, 1956, to Ann (Barker) and Walter Mayse, and they survive in Sidney.  Jim married Constance M. “Connie” Hurley February 25, 1977, and she survives in Conover.  He is also survived by two daughters: Jasmine (Paul) Stammen of New Knoxville, and Jessica (Clay) Mekelburg of Florida; 12 grandchildren: Alex, Anthony, Nickolas, Nathanial, Christopher, Brendon, Cameron, Katherine, Caleb, Aleynah, Mylee, and Kai; siblings: Bobby Mayse, Randy Mayse, Danny Mayse, and Brenda Barhorst; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim worked for many years as a truck driver for Schindewolf Express / Quest Liner.

The family will be having a Celebration of Jim’s life Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Houston Community Center  5005 Russia-Houston Rd. Houston, Ohio.
