James Stanley

James “Jim” W. Stanley, 58, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010. He was born in St. Paris, Ohio June 28, 1951, to the late Don and Virginia (Kress) Stanley.

He is survived by sons, D.J. Stanley of Springfield, Ohio, and Bill (Jennifer) Stanley of Bellefontaine; a sister, Rosemary (Al) Macioce of Sidney, Ohio; grandchildren, Shelby, Luke, Gavin and Mason; and a niece, Gina Marie Macioce of Sidney.

Jim worked at International Harvester in Springfield, Ohio, and in construction as a brick mason.

A United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Post #173 and the Bellefontaine Moose Lodge.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, January 24, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be conducted by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
