James Whiting

James E. Whiting, 41, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He was born September 21, 1969 to the Edwin H. and Charlene (Ratleff) Whiting. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Whiting.

Surviving is a daughter, McKenzie Whiting of Bellefontaine; brothers, Keith (Sherry) Whiting of Huntsville, Ohio and Richard Whiting of Bellefontaine; half-brother, Kevin (Britney) Whiting of Springfield, Ohio; sisters, Nancy Whiting and Kristi Lowe, both of Bellefontaine; a half-sister, April Brown of Arizona; an aunt, Anne Malone of Richmond, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

A former employee of H.B.D where he worked for 12 years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Tennessee Titans.

Clint Mitchell will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Auburn Avenue Baptist Church in Bellefontaine where friends may call from noon to 2 P.M. prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, McKenzie Whiting.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
